A wave of consequence rolls over by surprise
And washes everything around
To brush on past whatever thought that you surmise
And not create a single sound
Cause in the envelope of time that it creates
Preparing moments for the past
To wait so fruitlessly for silence to abate
Indifference never came so fast
You knew yourself to be real enough
To be the only one dividing line
And the one forgetful notion
Stand in the spot that you were before
I knew your name inside the other mind
That would justify the motion
Allowing visions of the future in your mind
Corrupts the nature of the now
And searching aimlessly the present you can find
Is only riding on the vow
When tainted yesterday seeps into what's to come
And all tomorrow knows is lost
The bitter moment feels like nothing to the numb
And chips away within the frost
You knew yourself to be real enough
To be the only one dividing line
And the one forgetful notion
Stand in the spot that you were before
I knew your name inside the other mind
That would justify the motion
Moonlight sorrow
Sorrow be
Only spoken rhyme
Sunlight follow
Follow me
Into broken time
You knew yourself to be real enough
To be the only one dividing line
And the one forgetful notion
Stand in the spot that you were before
I knew your name inside the other mind
That would justify the motion
You knew yourself to be real enough
To be the only one dividing line
And the one forgetful notion
Stand in the spot that you were before
I knew your name inside the other mind
That would justify the motion

Splendid prog with a clear Gentle Giant influence. But this is not a copycat band, not at all, since they add plenty of original elements, such as the interplay between male and female vocals, a very modern synergy between the instruments and a songwriting that strikes a perfect balance between pop and prog (a goal that GG themselves always struggled to achieve). The result is a real delight, not only for prog or Gentle Giant lovers, but for all those who love music. muschiosauro
In 2019, I was in Salisbury and attended the Alphabet Business Convention without knowing any artist. Lost Crowns was my favourite band that played there. Pablo P.
